Rose Cook is one of South-West’s best known poets, having performed extensively in venues from the Soho Theatre in London and Dartington’s Ways With Words Literature Festival, and as one of the Apples & Snakes poets at the North Devon Festival in Barnstaple, Exeter Phoenix’s Text Festival and a Peterloo Poets event in Cornwall. She appeared alongside Medbh McGuckian at the Bristol Poetry Festival.
Recently, she has appeared in a variety of events, which included the Penzance Literature Festival, the Totnes Festival, the Barnstaple Gallery session and at Uncut in Exeter’s Phoenix Arts Centre.
In 2016 –
Rose read at Outspoken on March 22nd, held at the Community Bookshop in Castle Street, Totnes by the wonderful Jackie Juno
and at Uncut in the Exeter Phoenix Arts Centre, with an incredible line-up held by Alasdair Paterson.
She will be headline poet on June 27th at Stanza Extravaganza! held at the Artizan Gallery 8pm-10pm 7 Lucius St, Torquay Devon TQ2 5UW
In 2015 –
Rose will show her MFA work in the Plymouth University MA Show – Flow – to be held in the Peninsula Gallery, Roland Lewinsky building at the University
